CP Steam Engines from Ebay

I received my first slides from the John MacIntosh sale on Ebay. Here they are for your viewing pleasure. Click on them to see the large version.

First, CP 1097 in the Fredericton yard.

Unfortunately this one is blurry. I levelled the photo and did my best to sharpen it but there is only so much one can do.

The next one is better quality, featuring the CPR train leaving the CN mainline at Norton to go to Chipman on August 5, 1958.

Now a question on this one... is it CP 136 or 144 pulling the train? The engine number is too small to read, except that it is 3 digits.

I wonder if there's any visible evidence of the train line that left the CN line to Chipman. It's probably been covered over by trees by now.

I have been exploring this line on the field and interestingly enough theres plenty of evidence of this line.
Most of the Case area just outside Norton is overgrown, theres alot trails that use the railbed.
Its fascinating.
