Caboose For Sale

The town of Oromocto, New Brunswick is selling their caboose.

This ex CN caboose is on display between the mall and the Oromocto River. It's a little sad for me to read this as I am sure I gave a photo of each of my children standing on an end platform. Other than a bridge or two now hosting a walking trail, this is the last piece of railway heritage in Oromocto.

    If Jason has a VIA passenger car is his basement, I think you can put a caboose in your garage. :)

    It just got sold to the Town of Trenton in NS where it was built. Can't wait to have it come home :)
