I was all set to write a blog post about the Assiniboine Valley Railway last night, but I noticed that John Longhurst wrote a blog post about it the very same day! So... read his post and enjoy!
The reason I was going to write about it is because my son and I took a ride on the AVR last night. Here's the video I took of the ride.
We were with a group, so I didn't take any photos there. I believe we were riding behind the maroon "CP" engine. They have quite an operation!
