CBC is reporting that the renovation of the Fredericton train station has been delayed. The cause is reported to be delays in the federal approvals process. As a protected building, all changes to the building have to be approved before work can commence.
The completion date has been pushed back to December 2010. It was originally scheduled to be completed by this month.
The article reports that Bird Construction will begin work this week. I understand a sod-turning ceremony is slated for Wednesday.
