RailServices Inc. RSSX 3756
I stumbled across this locomotive a while ago, in Redwater Alberta, north of Edmonton. This GP9 is used to switch a local gas industry.
RSSX 3756 is a high hood GP9, built as Southern Pacific 3756, now owned by RailServe. It appears to be part of the same group of GP9s as the old New Brunswick Southern Railway GP9s, as they are all in the same ex-SP number series. The difference is that NBSR's GP9s had a short hood while RSSX 3756 still has the high short hood. Have a look at Danny McCracken's shot of NBSR 3757 in McAdam:
RSSX 3756 shunts these tank cars.
There is a great RailServe roster page.
