BNSF 2001 was replaced as the Winnipeg engine by BNSF 2978 on January 5, 2010. Jeff Keddy reported it and saw 2001 in the CN Fort Rouge yard that afternoon. BNSF 2978 is a GP39V. I saw it in the BNSF yard off Taylor Avenue on Tuesday (January 19). BNSF 2001 arrived in Winnipeg on or near October 14, 2009.
