There have been CN GP9 units in Saint John as yard switchers since 2000, as far as I know. They replaced the SW1200RS "Sweeps" that used to grace the Island Yard. The following is a list of GP9s that I have seen in Saint John since 2000 and when I saw them. Note that date ranges are no guarantee the unit was in Saint John for th entire period, just an indication that it was spotted multiple times within that range.
