The steam engine is on the move.
Three flat cars arrived in Halifax on CN 120 on Monday, March 28. Two had steel beams welded to their decks as rails for the steam locomotive.
Sometime between then and now, the steam engine was hoisted onto the cars. They were moved Saturday morning (April 2) to CN's Rockingham yard in preparation for departure on CN 121. It was confirmed that they were on CN 121, near the head end, last night. The engine was covered with a green tarp but the wheels are visible.
Presumably it made it to Moncton to be switched over to CN 305 for passage west to Toronto. Hopefully some pictures will be taken along the way.
